Shepherd Stays is a trading name of Georgina Coxon.

We provide holiday accommodation at 1 Goods Hill, Gastard, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9PP, United Kingdom.

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary.

All prices are in GBP (£). Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival: full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival: non-refundable. Bookings may be transferable at our discretion. In exceptional circumstances, we may offer goodwill refunds or rescheduling.

We strongly recommend guests take out appropriate travel insurance.

Check-in: from 4:00pm

Check-out: by 10:00am

Details will be provided prior to arrival.

Guests agree to respect the property, neighbours, and surrounding environment; not exceed the stated occupancy limits; follow all safety instructions provided; and use all facilities responsibly.

Use of facilities such as saunas, cold plunge baths, fire pits, and wood-burning equipment is at your own risk. By booking, you acknowledge that these facilities carry inherent risks including burns, slips, dehydration, and adverse health effects. You should not use these facilities if you have heart conditions, are pregnant, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or have relevant medical conditions. Guests must follow all instructions provided on-site, supervise children at all times, and not use facilities irresponsibly. We are not liable for injury where safety guidance has not been followed.

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for repair, replacement, or additional cleaning.

Indicative charges (non-exhaustive):

• Broken crockery/glassware: £5–£15 per item

• Damaged bedding: £30–£120

• Mattress damage: £150–£400

• Furniture damage: £50–£300

• Fire pit misuse/damage: £50–£200

• Excessive cleaning: £50–£150

• Key replacement: £25–£100

• Unauthorised pets: £50 cleaning fee

• Damage to fixtures: £40–£200

While we take reasonable care to ensure availability and pricing accuracy, we do not guarantee that the website will always be error-free. In rare cases of technical error (e.g. double booking, pricing issue), we reserve the right to cancel the booking and issue a full refund, or offer an alternative date or accommodation. We shall not be liable for losses arising from system errors beyond the booking value.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking. We are not liable for loss of personal belongings, indirect or consequential losses, or events outside our reasonable control (including weather, utilities failure, access issues). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Shepherd Stays offers an off-grid, rural experience. By booking, you acknowledge that power, lighting, and connectivity may be limited, WiFi (if provided) may be intermittent, and conditions may differ from hotel accommodation. These are part of the experience and not grounds for refund.

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
