Guest Safety & Liability Waiver

1. Acknowledgement of Risk

I understand that my stay at Shepherd Stays includes the use of facilities that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Sauna use (heat exposure, dehydration, burns)

• Cold plunge (cold shock, slips, dizziness)

• Fire pits and wood-burning equipment (burns, fire risk)

• Rural and off-grid environment (uneven ground, low lighting, limited services)

I accept full responsibility for my use of these facilities.

2. Health & Fitness to Participate

I confirm that:

• I am physically fit to use these facilities

• I do not have any medical conditions that would make their use unsafe (including heart conditions or pregnancy)

• I will not use these facilities under the influence of alcohol or drugs

3. Safe Use Commitment

I agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions provided

• Use all facilities responsibly and with care

• Supervise children at all times

• Stop use immediately if I feel unwell

4. Responsibility for Others

I accept responsibility for all members of my booking group and confirm that I will ensure they follow these safety guidelines.

5. Liability Acknowledgement

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• I accept that use of facilities is at my own risk

• I agree that Shepherd Stays shall not be liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse or failure to follow safety guidance

Nothing in this waiver excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

6. Property Responsibility

I agree to take reasonable care of the property and understand that I may be charged for damage, loss, or excessive cleaning caused during my stay.

7. Acceptance

By completing this booking, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver and the Terms & Conditions.
